2.5 Days of Longboarding Around Madison
Madison, Wisconsin has a large bike and alternative transport culture due to its unique placement on an isthmus (land bridge), making it a great place for longboarding, with over 200 miles of bike paths and dedicated lanes.
In this event, we will ride together around some of our favorite shared urban routes, and bike paths.

The Rally Sections are head to head timed segments on the best parts of the route where you will get a chance to let loose. This is similar to a Gran Fondo, charity ride, or Enduro bike event where only these segments count for the overall.
Beginners are welcome, with the idea of this event being minimal-drop with many chances to regroup. Skills such as slowing yourself and knowing your limit before getting out of control on hills is required.
Some in-between stops to the farmers market, pump track, bike festival, and food trucks are planned during the rides.

Sprints and hillier urban riding on shared bike roads and windy paths. Stops at the state farmers market. (Route is being modified to avoid half-marathon traffic)

Early start, with longer flat rural greenway segments. (Route is being modified to accommodate for ride the drive.)
