The Badger Board Rally is a group ride with timed segments, inspired by Gran Fondos, Enduro bike events, and Road Rallies. It’s not a race from start to finish—but certain designated sections of the route are timed, so you can push your limits and track your performance while still enjoying the ride with the group.
Something we find troublesome about endurance longboarding is inclusivity for new riders. Many events are either dangerous for beginners (Broadway bomb), or intimidating and lack time to talk to like-minded people (Ultraskate). Hence, the semi-competitive and social Rally format of this event.

These are the highlight segments (green) of each day’s route—smooth pavement, scenic stretches, or challenging hills—where riders go head-to-head or race the clock. Only your performance in these timed sections counts toward your overall result.
• You’ll ride as a group between sections
• At each Rally Section, you’ll have the chance to go full throttle
• Times are tracked and accumulated across the weekend
Just like in a Gran Fondo or Enduro event, you can choose how hard you want to go. Want to compete? Chase fast times. Just here for the vibes? Enjoy the ride and skip pushing on the timed bits.
Saturday & Sunday feature curated routes under 40 miles, with:
• Multiple timed rally segments per day
• Regrouping points between sections so no one gets left behind
• Out-and-back options on Sunday—you can shorten your ride if needed for travel constraints or difficulty
Whether you’re out to win, set a PR, or just complete the course, the Rally format keeps things fun, social, and safely structured. Everyone rides together, traffic laws and trail etiquette are respected, and the spirit is about community and challenge.
