Sat-Sun Rides Will Begin at the VeloUnderRound.
Friday ride will be communicated via the Groupchat.
Note that routes and times are not finalized, some minor changes will occur to adjust around other locally occuring events.
A speed of at least 7 mph will be the cutoff to stay on schedule until the final segments. While the event aims to be a no-drop event, the group ride will continue to move so the event may proceed as planned, if needed.

People will arrive, we will be available to shuttle riders within the city of Madison.

Bring a light! Most paths are lit, but a light would be good, or you can Uber or shuttle back worst case.
For our Friday group ride, we will meet the drivers at the Home Depot charge point where Longboard Madison meets. I will be riding from the Wyndham Garden Fitchburg to pick up any riders staying at the hotel and sweeping through the velo-underound to start riding from Home Depot at 6.
There is also parking at my house if you'd like, noted in the group email.

Please note, you must be able to slow down on hills before getting out of control, and have the skill to know when to slow down or walk a hill. A reminder that this is an unofficial group ride, not a race, and safety is paramount.

About 6 miles in you can walk around and get some food and skate around state street. Hard roll out at 12:30 unless otherwise.

Unofficial hangout after the ride downtown so you can socialize and skate more.
Note that you will then need to ride back approximately 8 miles from the end point which is in downtown. Or shuttle, bus, or uber.

Get the day started early. This ride consists of longer flatter routes on bike paths, with out and backs in case you'd like to cut it short.

A major stretch of Madison's downtown and near east side will be shut for us to ride, with food trucks available at the end of this segment.
